The City has a new ordinance regulating home-bases businesses. The main purpose of the “Home Occupations” ordinance is to ensure that home-based businesses remain transparent to surrounding neighbors and that neighborhoods maintain their residential character.
Among other changes, we now require business owners to obtain a permit to operate their home-based business. Existing approved home-based businesses will not be required to obtain a permit, but they will be required to follow all other regulations in the new ordinance.
