Have Old Electronics You Need to Recycle?
O’Fallon’s American TV and Appliances store, located at 1237 Central Park Drive, has launched a new electronics recycling program for the community.
The service is free to consumer households who drop off televisions, monitors, computers and other electronics at the store. Any brand of electronic item will be accepted. You may contact American TV at 622-6000.
No commercial or business items will be accepted.
The electronic materials collected will be processed in an environmentally responsible manner that protects the local environment.
Christmas Tree Pick-up
Disposing of your Christmas tree after the holidays is as easy as placing the tree at the curb on your normal trash collection day. During the month of January, Waste Management will pick up Christmas trees at no additional charge. Trees six foot and taller must be cut in half before placing them at the curb.

O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument Perpetual Tribute 
The O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument, located on Wesley Drive just west of Seven Hills Road, will accept applications for inclusion on the monument pillars on an ongoing basis. All honorably discharged veterans who lived in O’Fallon School District #203 at any point in their lives are eligible. There are two cutoff dates annually. The deadline for submission of applications for Memorial Day is March 1, and the deadline for the Veterans’ Day ceremony is September 1 of each year. Applications are available at O’Fallon City Hall, the O’Fallon Township building, Historical Society, Public Library, VFW Post #805 or visit the web site at www.ofallonveteransmonument.org.
