O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument Perpetual Tribute
The O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument, located on addressStreetWesley Drive just west of addressStreetSeven Hills Road, will accept applications for inclusion on the monument pillars on an ongoing basis. All honorably discharged veterans who lived in O’Fallon School District #203 at any point in their lives are eligible. There are two cutoff dates annually. The deadline for submission of applications for Memorial Day is March 1st of each year and the deadline for the Veterans’ Day ceremony is September 1st of each year. Applications are available at O’Fallon City Hall, the O’Fallon Township building, VFW Post #805 or visit the web site at www.ofallonveteransmonument.org. If you

Missed the City Council Meeting?
You still have the opportunity to see your local government at work and keep up to date on what is happening in your City. Council meetings are re-aired on O’Fallon’s Cable Channel 10 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7 p.m. and every Wednesday at noon. City Talk, our talk show, is aired immediately following the re-airing of the Council Meeting.

Select Baseball & Softball
New to O’Fallon this Fall, The Family Sports Complex will be hosting Fall Select Baseball and Softball leagues. Girls and Boys under 10, under 12, and under 14 years will have the opportunity to participate in the 1st annual select league. If you are new to select baseball or softball, all you have to do is gather a team of 12 to 15 players and register with O’Fallon Parks and Recreation. The schedule will include ten games and a playoff for the top four teams in the league. Games will start the week of August 20th and run through October. To register, stop by O’Fallon Parks and Recreation. A $50 non refundable deposit is required to hold a spot. The balance is due at the coach’s meeting scheduled for August 13th. For more

O’Fallon/Shiloh Youth Soccer League
Back by popular demand, the Shiloh Tri-County soccer league is getting ready to KICK off the season. Children K and older are eligible to play in this league. Games start the first week in September and run through October. There will be no Sunday games. Practices will start in August and all teams are co-ed. This year, we will again eliminate some of the travel by having younger age groups play small-sided in placeShiloh. Small-sided means smaller fields with fewer players on the field. Any age group that cannot play small-sided will continue to play in the Tri-County League. For more information, contact Parks and Recreation at 624-0139.
