Rams Reader Program
The Rams Reader Program starts in October. In this program, children read three books for Rams posters, magnets, and a chance for tickets to one of the last Rams games in December (one set of tickets per library). One child will also get a chance to attend a party at Rams Park in the spring of 2005 (prizes are subject to change). For further information on the Rams Reader Program, please visit the O’Fallon Public Library.
New Grant
Our library is fortunate to be a part of a recently funded grant by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation to establish Centers for Effective Non-Profits in five regional public libraries. Building on the library’s Grant Collection funded by the O’Fallon Rotary Club, the grant will provide additional funding for materials, staff training, and workshops for members of non-profit organizations to improve their effectiveness. More information will be forthcoming…
Computer Classes
The library offers a series of three different classes:
Beginner’s Internet
Basic Word

All are free, last ninety minutes, and are limited to eight students each. One class is held each month, usually at the end of the month. Look for advertisements in the local newspapers, on the library’s website ( www.ofallonlibrary.org) and on signs posted in the library.
