POLICE DEPARTMENT
The O’Fallon Police Traffic Safety Unit (TSU) has developed a “Traffic Safety Yard Sign Program” with the assistance of O’Fallon resident, Mrs. Jennifer Stoner.
The new program is designed to get our community more actively involved in traffic safety issues, specifically in an effort to decrease the speeds of vehicles in neighborhoods. The program has proven to be very effective in other communities and we believe it will also be very successful in O’Fallon.
Mrs. Stoner is the first O’Fallon resident to test the program in her neighborhood. Once the
program is underway, more residents will have the opportunity to request signs.
Approved residents will be responsible for placing and retrieving the signs in a variety of locations throughout their neighborhoods.
