O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument Perpetual Tribute
The O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument, located on Wesley Drive just west of Seven Hills Road, will accept applications for inclusion on the monument pillars on anongoing basis. All honorably discharged veterans who lived in O’Fallon School District #203 at any point in their lives are eligible. There are two cutoff dates annually. The deadline for submission of applications for Memorial Day is March 1st of each year and the deadline for the Veterans’ Day ceremony is September 1st of each year. Applications are available at O’Fallon City Hall, the O’Fallon Township building, VFW Post #805 or visit the web site at www.ofallonveteransmonument.org. If you need further

Historic Preservation Commission Post Cards Available
In their efforts to preserve the history of O’Fallon, the O’Fallon Historic Preservation Commission has designed a set of 17 full color postcards, depicting the landmarks in our City that have received historic landmark designation. Sets are available for $10 at the O’Fallon Historical Society Museum (624-8409) and from the Planning & Zoning Department at City Hall (2nd Floor) 624-4500, ext. 4.
CROP Walk 2007
Crop Walk (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at O’Fallon Community Park. Registration begins at 1:15 p.m. and the walk steps off at 1:30 p.m., rain or shine. The walk will begin at Community Park, proceed to Rock Springs Park where refreshments and fun activities will be available, and then ends back at Community Park. Approximately 2,000 communities across the country participate in CROP events each year, raising funds for local hunger-fighting agencies as well as for the international relief and development efforts of Church World Services. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised by the O’Fallon CROP Walk will stay right here in O’Fallon/Shiloh to support local hunger-fighting efforts, especially the
O’Fallon-Shiloh Food Pantry.

O’Fallon Farmers Market
The O’Fallon Farmers Market will remain open every Saturday through the end of October.
Don’t miss the wonderful opportunity to purchase fresh, farm-grown vegetables, fruits and plants.
The market is located on First Street next to the Caboose and is open from 8 a.m. - noon. New vendors are welcome.
