Missoula Children’s Theater - Caticchio
“Cinderella” April 14-19, 2008 (8th residency).
Show times Friday 7pm & Saturday 1pm (instead of two Saturday shows).
Audition at Cavins Monday, April 14 at 4pm. All rehearsals at OTHS, starting April 15.
Flyers went home with students week of March 10 & 17.
Accompanist, videographer, hotel, bouquets for Directors/Accompanist scheduled.
Tickets ordered. Some complimentary tickets to social workers, music teachers, scouts.
Press release for audition distributed. Posters being distributed. Checks ordered. Marquee requests complete.
Ticket Sales volunteers: Monday April 14 (5:45-6:45pm): Grimmer, Jorgensen; Friday April 18 (6:15-7:15): Grimmer, Stawarski; Saturday April 19 (12:15-1:15) Erb, Jorgensen.
Workshop list sent to all schools May 2007. First Baptist doing a workshop; Hinchcliffe doing an assembly.
Susen McBeth, practicum coordinator for Sign Language Interpreter Training program at SWIC in Belleville, is offering free services of a sign language interpreter at our two shows. Caticchio contacted BAASC, media, area schools to request that administrators forward to appropriate staff such as social workers, nurses, special ed director, OTHS teacher for hearing impaired.
Backyard Playhouse Summer Youth Theater Camp – Grimmer
· “Willy Wonka” - Jun 9–27 (M thru F 1p to 4p) OTHS auditorium, fee: $125, Grades 3-12
Strange Folk “Gnome” – Wiggins
· Summer Project for group to make a new cut out for Strange Folk Festival
· 2008 date for 3rd annual event: Sept 27 & 28 (Sat 10-5pm & Sun 11-4pm)
· Start taking applications June 1, 2008. Deadline for vendor apps: June 30.
· Space fee: $65, no jury fee, no commission
· Over 5,000 attendance & over 100 vendors expected.
