Item B. Adding Web Link. A suggestion was received to add links to area arts organizations. Objective criteria would be required to determine what groups went on the list and what groups did not, and the meeting attendees found this difficult to set. Opinions expressed that the list should not be “regional” (that is the job of another type of organization) nor include state or national links. Opinion was that most organizations of a special interest/art would be easily accessible via an internet search, and upkeep of the list by our group could be complex and time-consuming. A list could be too inclusive (and therefore possibly meaningless), or too exclusive (and therefore offend someone who was not on it). It was decided not to add a link.
Item C. Missoula Children’s Theater (Caticchio): “Cinderella” April 14-19, 2008 (8th residency). Show times: Friday 7pm & Saturday 1pm (instead of two Saturday shows). Free Workshops: Moye, First Baptist, Hinchcliffe. Workshop list sent to all schools May 2007. Hinchcliffe has booked an assembly.
Item D. Backyard Playhouse Summer Youth Theater Camp (Grimmer). “Willy Wonka”, 3 weeks at OTHS auditorium. June 9-27, 2008 (M thru F 1p to 4pm). Grades 3-12. $125 per camper.
