Meeting of the Arts Commission Committee of the City of O’Fallon, held at City Hall, O’Fallon, IL

à 2008 event date: Sept 27 & 28 (Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10- 4). Expected: over 5,000 attendees.
à Vendors: 120 from all over the US and Canada. Photo links being added now. No jury fee, no commission. Booth fee: $65 (craft or food). Security 5pm Sat to 9am Sunday.
à Sponsors: Speed of Light, Craft Magazine
à Hutchison to rent medium size tent for vendors; reserve 60 tables (40 are for pavilion).
à Publicity: Autumn writing Press Release and Vendor Profiles; RFT ads (print, online); ¼-page Craft insert in BND (deadline is Aug 22); My Space, Face Book pages; Autumn writing Etsy articles; posts on Craft Magazine website, Etsy, and other blogs. Caticchio research newspaper flyer insert cost and sticker (impact note) cost. Banners: Beth re-doing ones from last year.
à Music: Cranky Yellow booking no-cost bands; possible flat bed for stage at no cost, or rent stage? May need generators (bands provide)?
à Food vendors: BBQ, Mexican, Greek (salad, gyros), Boy Scouts (hot dogs etc), Coffee, Vegetarian.
à Kids Activities: 3 so far. Alpacas, knitting lessons. Caticchio resend Discovery School contact to Autumn. Hummingbird feeders; Blicks giving Sharpies at discount; additional toaster ovens.
à Goody bags for vendors: Sublime Stitchinjg sending 100 patterns, Crafty Planet (fabric retailer) sending goodies and web promotion. Cranky Yellow doing goody bag duties.
à Logo cups: sell for $10 each; Logo bags sold at info booth; biodegradable bags, pens?
à Budget: Income about $8200 so far from vendors ($7700), sponsors ($500), others sponsors donating in-kind; Expenses about $2500 (security $200, table rental incl delivery $400, $1500 RFT, $375 BND Craft insert); Pending expenses TBD: tent rental, additional BND ad(?), stage(?).

Item D. Performing Arts Series (Caticchio, Hutchison). No new information.
Item E. Missoula Children’s Theater (Caticchio): “Princess & the Pea” April 13-19, 2009 (9th residency)
