Audition at Cavins April 12 at 4pm; rehearsal at Cavins Mon & Tues then move to Milburn for Wed/Thur/Fri rehearsal. Performances Fri night and Sat matinee at Milburn Auditorium. MCT now charges fee if we have a videographer, so it was decided we will try letting parents videotape from designated tripod areas, rear of theater, or from seated position only. Request for 2011 residency week was sent in to MCT.
Item B. Backyard Playhouse Theater Camp (Grimmer): Caticchio contact to see if theater camp will occur. Wiggins would like to have a scenery design class that could be tied in.

Item D. Arts & Parks Foundation – Annual board meeting occurred this month. “Fools Run” income reported.
Item E. Sculpture at Thoman Park – Hutchison reported that OTHS Art Club donation has been installed. Students chose area sculptor Donald Horstman and voted on their preference, choosing as their purchase and gift a Horstman piece called “Spirit” (created in 2007) that is 12 feet tall. Students will be acknowledged at City Council Meeting. OTHS Art Club donated the first two sculptures at Thoman Park in 2006. Hutchison researching possible plaques that name donors, artist, title of the pieces, etc.
Item F. Strange Folk Art Festival (Wiggins): 2010 dates are Sept 25-26 (10am-5pm). Our 5th year! Website updates occur around April: www.strangefolkfestival.com. Vendors or patrons can
sign up for email updates. Online vendor application available by June 1, will probably be due July 1 to be juried. Admission, parking, wi-fi: all free! Considering increase of vendor booths to 150 (it was 125 in 2009). Budget will tighten; $855 BND ad too costly. Wiggins considering sponsorship of exhibits (sponsor name also on banners). Discussion about more food vendors ($50 w/out electric, $75 w/electric hookup, $100/kitchen space). KDHX helping with no-cost or low-cost band search.
