For those of you with AT&T’s U-Verse cable TV system, the City ‘s cable access channel is now available! Our cable channel broadcasts City Council meetings, our City Talk interview show, special events, and a community bulletin board (click here to see our programming schedule).
The channel has been available on Charter Cable for years, but it has taken a while to activate the channel on U-Verse. AT&T began installing their system last year, but only recently were able to put our channel on their system. We thought it would be activated much sooner.
Although it is commonly known around town as “Channel 10,” the City's channel is not on channel 10 on the U-Verse system. To view the City’s cable channel on U-Verse, you need to press the “Menu” button and scroll down and press on “Government Programming.” There will be a list of various cities on the system in the St. Louis area and O’Fallon should be on the list.
As always, those with satellite TV cannot receive the City’s cable channel. The City does not have access to the satellite network. However, we are working on video streaming of City Council meetings on our web site. Stay tuned.
