Maryanne Fair was appointed Deputy City Clerk in 1999. She has been employed with the City of O’Fallon since June 17, 1996. She has been a resident since April 1997.
Maryanne received her Master Municipal Clerk designation in December 2007 from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The educational courses are conducted by the University of Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs. She received her Certified and Registered Municipal Clerk in December 2001 from Governmental Studies, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois. She is an active member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks Association and the Municipal Clerks of Illinois, the chairman of the Technology/Records Management/Web Site Committee for the Municipal Clerks of
Illinois and the past president of the Southwestern Illinois Clerk’s Association. She has also served as the District IX Director for the Municipal Clerks of Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies with a minor in Communication from Saint Louis University.
