Before beginning any form of soliciting within the City of O'Fallon, you should be aware of your responsibilities under the law. All Solicitors desiring to conduct business within the City of O'Fallon are required to fill out an application for a license with the City Clerk. The license has a $50 annual fee. Residents and business owners are allowed to post signs near their main entrance stating either "Only Solicitors Registered in O'Fallon invited" or No Solicitors Invited." When one of these signs is present, solicitors must obey these signs. If the occupant
requests that the solicitor leave at any time, the solicitor is required to obey immediately. Soliciting in the City of O'Fallon may only take place thirty (30) minutes after sunrise or thirty (30) minutes before sunset. Regardless of sunrise or sunset, no solicitation shall take place before 9:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. or any time Sunday or any state or national holiday.
