A) Dickerson Petroleum Planned Use Rezoning (2nd Reading) - Zoning Amendment subject to the Planned Development Ordinance for “B-1(P)” for a proposed gas station and convenience store; located at 1401 North Green Mount Road; applicant is Steve Dickerson for Dickerson Petroleum, Inc. On hold in committee
B) New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church Expansion Planned Use Rezoning (2nd Reading) – Amendment of the SR-1(P) Planned Use Zoning Ordinance for the New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church, to include a proposed two phase expansion plan, including in Phase I the construction of an 8,500 sq. ft. community and youth center, and in Phase II the proposed expansion of a 17,645 sq. ft. new auditorium/sanctuary that will accommodate approximately 1,000 seats. Both Phases are proposed for the existing church location of 689 Scott-Troy Road. The applicant is Dr. Vincient Dudley for New Life in Christ Interdenominational
Church. No change.

IV) Other Business
A) ZHO2008-18 – 301 Regency Park Drive Sign Variance – The Zoning Hearing Officer approved the Sign Variance to the City’s prohibition of trailer signs at 301 Regency Park Drive on July 29, 2008. The City Council has 21 days right-of-review on the decision, which would end on August 19, 2008. The findings of fact and decision are attached for your review.
B) ZHO2008-19 – 475 Regency Park Drive Sign Variance – The Zoning Hearing Officer approved the Sign Variance to the City’s prohibition of a trailer signs and but denied the Sign Variance to the real estate sign that exceeds the size requirements at 475 Regency Park Drive on July 29, 2008. The City Council has 21 days right-of-review on the decision, which would end on August 19, 2008. The findings of fact and decision are attached for your review.
