HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

- Roll Call: Susan Hertich, Brian Keller, Verna Mehrtens, Jim Sabella. Excused: Julie Spengler, Steve Brown, Mark Kampen. Staff: Todd Bjerkaas.
- Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve by Sabella, second by Hertich. All ayes.
- Public Hearings – none.
- Discussion.
a. Cemetery Walk. Tabled temporarily while working on 403 N Lincoln application. Highlighting infants buried at the cemetery was suggested as a possibility to pursue.
b. OHPC Advisory Function. Susan suggested writing a quarterly article for the newspaper about remodeling historic homes and buildings.
c. O'Fallon Apostolic Church, 403 N Lincoln. We will try to arrange a tour in February, as part of the monthly meeting if possible. Brian will scan the historical material provided by the church and email to the OHPC members. The working timeline is touring the building for the February meeting, gathering information and reviewing the application in March and holding a public hearing in April.
