Essential Duties:
Performing a variety of administrative functions while assisting the Utility Billing Department with providing service to the community. Includes (but not limited to): the skills required to use a multi-line phone; handle counter traffic; work with confidential data; perform data entry, keying numbers, & word processing; perform other general office duties such as filing, typing, copying. May be required to travel to other City facilities and properties on occasion as needed by the department.
Qualifications:
Requires

High school diploma or equivalent (ability to read and write the English language); |

Ability to file, type, alphabetize and categorize information; |
3 |
Ability to use a personal computer as well as the capacity to utilize computer word processing & spreadsheet applications (i.e. Microsoft Office); |
4 |
Ability to learn to use specialized database software; |
5 |
Availability to work staggered shifts assignments as necessary; |
6 |
Excellent customer service skills including the ability to efficiently and courteously interact with a diverse population; |
7 |
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing; |
8 |
Adequate transportation which allows the ability to travel around the City; |
9 |
Self-motivation; possess the ability to work with limited supervision. |
