John was elected Ward 4 Alderman in April 2007.
John moved to O’Fallon in 1979 when his father, Ned Drolet, Ward 6 Alderman, was transferred to Scott AFB.
John is a graduate of Marie Schaefer Junior High and O’Fallon Township High School, and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
After graduating from SIUE, John moved to St. Charles, MO with his wife, Robin.
In 2004, he returned to O’Fallon with Robin and their two children, Logan and Baylee.
John was employed as a Credit Director with the May Department Stores Company for 17 years prior to joining the family business in July 2006. He is the co-owner of Gifts For Individuals located on State Street in O’Fallon.
As Aldermen, John is committed to ensuring that O’Fallon continues to set high standards for growth and development.
