 Ward 2 Alderman since 1999.
Ed has lived in O’Fallon for 35 years. He is married and has five children.
He is a retired Air Force pilot. His last assignment was at Scott Air Force Base, and he has been in the area ever since.
Ed received his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria and two master’s degrees from the University of Southern California.
He has served on various national and local boards. Nationally, he served on the board for the Leukemia Society, Boy Scouts of America, and Senior Olympics. Locally, has served on the District 90 School Board and currently serves on the District 203 School Board. He is also on the board for the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Bradley Alumni Association, and St. Louis Sports Commission. He is the Southwest division chairman for the Illinois Association of School Boards and the Southern Illinois chairman for the Foreign Country Rotary Exchange for High School Students. Ed also volunteers for the YMCA, United Way, Junior Achievement, and the Cancer Society.
In 2002, Ed was inducted into the 2002 Senior Illinoisans Hall of Fame.
He is currently the chair of the Public Safety Committee and also serves on the Parks and Environment Board.
Ed’s vision for O’Fallon is as a leader of the Metro-East in sports and arts and as the community of choice for people to live and raise a family.
