Call to order
Approve minutes of previous meeting
Film Festival – Mary Jeanne, Director Parks & Recreation Department
1. Mary Jeanne and Jodi met with Genevieve Collins who proposed the idea.
2. Spring or Summer 2006? Local theater co-sponsor or give us space? Pre-screen at Cavins?
3. Model after St Louis Filmmakers Showcase (or co-sponsor?).
4. Judges
5. Entry fee per length of film? Use funds for cash prizes. Winners entered in Nat’l competition.
6. Put out flyers for this at Art Festival?
Public Mural – Autumn Wiggins
Scholastic Art Show 2006 – Rendy Faulkner
Arts Festival – Lin Stawarski
1. October 1, 2005 (Saturday)
2. Distribute Festival flyers at MCT Auditions?
3. Still need Coordinator for (preschool/amateur) Art Booths in order for that aspect of Festival to occur:
· Festival Coordinator: Lin Stawarski
· Grounds Layout/signs: Lin Stawarski
· Coordinate Professional Artists: Jodi Caticchio; Pat Taylor
· Decorating Pavilion(s)/grounds: Millie Erb & Autumn Wiggins
· Pavilion Stage Manager: Deor Jorgensen (coordinate w/Parks on line-up/professionals)
· Organize Art Booths: ?
· FestivEats: Jodi Caticchio & Mary Jeanne Hutchison: local restaurant still invited but now no restrictions for food items. Mary Jeanne will research other concessions.
Youth Theatre Camp (Backyard Playhouse)
1. June 6-24, 2005 (3 weeks), grades 2 to 12. “Dear Edwina Junior”. Cavins/Moye locations.
2. Camp requires 30 minimum paid children in order to occur.
3. Flyers to be distributed at MCT Auditions on April 25.
Performing Arts Series
Missoula Children's Theatre Residency – Jodi Caticchio
1. April 25-30, 2005 - “The Tales of Hans Christian Anderson”
2. Flyers went out to schools first week of April.
3. Discounted Lodging at EconoLodge confirmed. Tickets received. Pianist confirmed.
4. Revised prices for DVD/VHS: $15 each. We still get 10% if over 25 items sold.
5. Free Workshops for 2005: Gov French, First Baptist, Hinchcliffe (2006: Schaefer, Fulton, Central)
6. 2006 tentative dates: April 24-29, 2006
