Youth Theatre Camp (Backyard Playhouse) – Crosby Grimmer
Happening this month! June 6-24 (3 weeks):grades 2 to 12. Total 36 paid participants.
Free performance June 23 at 1:00 pm at Moye Elementary: “Dear Edwina Junior”
Public Mural – Autumn Wiggins
Arts Festival – Lin Stawarski/Jodi Caticchio
October 1, 2005 (Saturday): Noon to 6pm
Professional Artists (Caticchio): Review Letter for distribution. Allows sales of art, artists pay $25 for booth, Parks provides tent, artist provided minimum of (6) mini-classes and all supplies. Artists keep all proceeds. Artist handles class sign up (no tickets from Parks).
Decorating Pavilion(s)/grounds (Millie Erb & Autumn Wiggins): update.
Pavilion/Performances (Deor Jorgensen): Professionals/YASL? St Louis Symphony?
Amateur Art Booths: update.
FestivEats: update.
Misc: Horse & carriage booked 1:30-5:30; Titanic and/or Star Wars slide; wine-tasting; Kite Club; ride coupon in newspaper; t-shirt raffle.
Grounds Layout/signs (Stawarski): update.
Missoula Children's Theatre Residency – Jodi Caticchio
1. Final numbers for April 25-30, 2005 “Tales of Hans Christian Anderson” - Under budget on spending (total costs = $5,000 to bring this event to O’Fallon) but did not sell as many tickets this time so not as much income (tuition + ticket sales income totaled $3360): overall net cost: $1,640. Circulate more tickets to generate interest/attendance?
2. 2006 confirmed dates: April 24-29, 2006 “Robin Hood”
Film Festival – Dawn Balk
1. Spring or Summer 2006? Local theater co-sponsor or give us space? Pre-screen at Cavins?
2. Judges? Entry fee per length of film? Use funds for cash prizes. Winners entered in Nat’l competition? Put out flyers for this at Art Festival?
