radKIDS strengthens family, encourages physical fitness, and teaches core safety values to live by through its program. Fun, activity-based programs include lecture, safety drills, muscle memory exercises and dynamic simulation.

Programs
The radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education Program is a 10-hour family centered safety education program that emphasizes essential decision-making skills as well as physical resistance options to escape violence. Children from 5-12 years of age participate in the program with their adult partners to create a true safety partnership.
Classes
The radKIDS classes will be separated by age group. A class will be held for children 5 to 7 and a class will be held for children 8 to 12. Classes will be taught in the evening from 6PM to 8PM, Monday through Friday on the designated dates at the O’Fallon Police Department. Class sizes are limited to 20 children per class. A tuition fee per child is $25 which will include a radKIDS t-shirt and a wristband. Please make checks payable to the O’Fallon Police Department. All proceeds will be used to fund the radKIDS program. This is a progressive program, so please be sure that your child is able to attend all class dates. Payment and completed paperwork must be returned to the O’Fallon Police Department prior to confirmed registration. Parents attendance and
participation is encouraged in all classes.
radKIDS Class Dates:
Class 1 for radKIDS: ages 5 to 7, starting on June 11th through June 15th (Monday through Friday) from 6pm to 8pm. 20 child class size limit and $25 fee per child made payable to the OPD.
Class 2 for radKIDS: ages 8 to 12, starting on June 18th through June 22nd (Monday through Friday) from 6pm to 8pm. 20 child class size limit and $25 fee per child made payable to the OPD.
Class 3 for radKIDS: ages 5 to 7, starting on July 16th through July 20th (Monday through Friday) from 6pm to 8pm. 20 child class size limit and $25 fee per child made payable to the OPD.
Class 4 for radKIDS: ages 8 to 12, starting on July 30th through August 3rd (Monday through Friday) from 6pm to 8pm. 20 child class size limit and $25 fee per child made payable to the OPD.
