Annual Water System Treatment
O’Fallon, Illinois – August 20, 2007 – Illinois-American Water Company began the annual special treatment of their water system on August 14, 2007. The treatment process will continue until the end of September.
City of O’Fallon Water Department customers in O’Fallon and Fairview Heights may notice a difference in the taste and odor of their water. The safety of the water will not be affected by this process. If an objectionable difference in odor is noticed, water customers should allow water drawn from the tap to sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.
