After Hours OTHS Study Night at the O’Fallon Public Library
O’Fallon, Illinois – November 29, 2007 – Mayor Gary L. Graham is pleased to announce that the O’Fallon Public Library, located at 120 Civic Plaza, is hosting an after hours study night for O’Fallon Township High School students on Monday, December 17, 2007 from 8 – 10:30 p.m.
Complimentary fruit, cheese, crackers, chips, bottled water, and plenty of coffee will be provided. In addition, St. Louis Bread Company gift cards, provided by the OTHS Library Advisory Board, will be drawn throughout the night for attendance prizes.
Five library staff members will work throughout the evening, including Teri Rankin, Manager of Children’s Services, and Jamie Doil, Manager of Reference Services.
“This has been a hugely successful joint activity between the high school and public library. The library provides staff and a quiet place to study, and the high school publicizes the event to their students. Last year over 200 students attended a similar study day held at the library”, said Teri Rankin.
For more information on the study night, contact Teri Rankin at the O’Fallon Public Library at 632-3783 or terir@lcls.org.
