O’Fallon Night with the Cardinals
O’Fallon, Illinois – March 26, 2008– The City’s Annual O’Fallon Night with the Cardinals will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008 with the Cardinals playing the Chicago Cubs at 7:15 p.m.
“Once again, we have selected the Cardinals vs. the Chicago Cubs game, since the match-up of these two teams always proves to be an exciting game. We need the support of our citizens and both the public and private sectors to make this event a success,” said Rebecca Karras, Finance Assistant for the City of O’Fallon, and local coordinator for the event.
The City has approximately 180 tickets available in Section 272/271 at a cost of $30 each (face value of $39). We also have 150 tickets for a variety of seats in the 400 level, mainly Section 447, at a cost of $20 each (face value of $30). Tickets may be purchased at City Hall and will be offered to O’Fallon residents first. Seats will be reserved in the order in which they are received.
Red Bird Express roundtrip tickets will also be available at City Hall at a cost of $5 for adults and $2 for children between the ages of five and 12. In addition, any senior citizen purchasing advance tickets to the game will be able to ride the Red Bird Express absolutely free! The Red Bird Express will board at the O’Fallon Depot on First Street.
“This event is great publicity for the City of O’Fallon. It builds community spirit and is a fun and exciting evening for citizens, club members, businesses, and employees,” said Mayor Gary L. Graham.
