Missoula Children’s Theatre Performances
O’Fallon, Illinois – April 15, 2008 – Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite this Friday and Saturday when Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students present CINDERELLA.
A pumpkin coach, Prince Charming, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together by the magic of a Fairy Godmother in this enchanting musical. When Cinderella’s stepsisters try to keep Cinderella from attending the ball, the Fairy Godmother enlists the help of the Mice and the Pumpkins and is able to transform Cinderella just in time for the big event. Also featured in the production are Cleo the Cat, Fido the Dog, the Lords and Ladies, the Town Criers, the King and the Beggars. Experience this unique twist the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on this classic story.
The local cast features Cinderella played by local student Kristin Buch, and Lyndsey Evans and Amanda Floyd will play her two stepsisters. The Stepmother will be played by Alexandra Wojtal. Cleo the Cat will be played by Kaitlin Sheppard, and Cameron Bopp will appear as Fido the Dog. Lainey Brown, Kate Caticchio, Courtney Clear, Jessica Davison, Mia Laing, Sandhya Jacobs, Ellen Maldoon, Stephanie Mabry, Jessie Saleh, Taylor Tate, Julian Traush, Kaitlyn Wade, Jennifer Walker, and Cody Williams will play the Lords and Ladies. Stewart Goodwin and Grant Bowes will play the roles of Town Criers, and Lucas Etheridge will play the King. Featured throughout the production are Emma Chapmjan, Stephanie Gould, Kayla Hagemann, Brittany Mater, Rebecca Peterson, Jenna Stephanovich,
Ashley Jo Taylor, Shelley Williams, and Megan Wilson as the Beggars, led by Rags the Beggar played by Jacob Rippy, and Patches, played by MCT Tour Actor/Director Erica Zintek. The Fairy Godmother, Natalie Buch, enlists the help of the Mice (Cassie Krusac, Emily Horsens, Regan Hutchison, Sophia Palma, Sienna Stroud, Jenna Trausch, Meagan Ware, Amy Williams) and the Pumpkins (Nathan Amenn, Henry Camp, Jessica Camp, Jay Carroll, Brady Cima, Natalie Erlinger, Allie Gederman, Ashlynn Honmah, Sarah Mintzhoff, Christopher Ord, Kaelyn Rheinecker, Camryn Stroud, Lauren Tomaszewski, Skylar VanDriel) to create the magic essential to this tale. Jack Gentry, Cassie Hamilton, Brandelyn Taylor, and Heather Worthington will serve as Assistant Directors throughout the week.
CINDERELLA will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18 and 1 p.m on Saturday, April 19 at O’Fallon Township High School auditorium. Tickets are $4 and are available at Cavins Center and at the door. Students of Southwestern Illinois College Sign Language Studies will be interpreting the production.
CINDERELLA is part of Missoula Children's Theatre's unique international touring project.
