New O’Fallon Garden Club
O’Fallon, Illinois – January 27, 2010 – Mayor Gary L. Graham is pleased to announce that the first meeting of the new O’Fallon Garden Club is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 at 6 p.m. at Katy Cavins Community Center, 308 E. Fifth Street.
“We are looking for citizens with a green thumb, master gardener background or anyone interested in helping,” said Mayor Graham. “Everyone is welcome.”
The club will provide an opportunity to socialize and share gardening stories and ideas and, at the same time, help to beautify our community. Please take advantage of the opportunity to provide input during the formation of the new garden club.
Over the past several years, we have received numerous inquiries about the presence of a Garden Club within the City of O’Fallon. Although we have numerous master gardeners and dedicated volunteers, we lacked an organized group in our community.
