How do I report that a public sidewalk or street needs repair?
You may initiate your request by submitting the location to hbell@ofallon.org, call 618-624-4500, ext. 3 or ext. 5, or write Public Works at 255 S. Lincoln, O’Fallon, IL 62269.
Why can't the City build sidewalks where they are needed?
We can in many instances if the need is warranted, and if we have space in the roadway's right-of-way. Under our Proposition S infrastructure improvement program, we have repaired, replaced and added on to our existing sidewalk system. We would appreciate your input if you know of an area needing sidewalks. However, keep in mind that not everyone is enthusiastic about having sidewalks in front of their property.
