CURRENT or COMING SOON PROJECTS:

(Construction Period: July 2010 - August 2011) Beginning Monday August 30th, Old Collinsville Rd will be closed from Milburn School Rd to just south of Rowe Lane to remove the old roadway and grade for new curbs and pavement.  Click here for a detour map showing routes for the area.  Rowe Lane can be accessed through Savannah Hills and via a temporary rock road connecting Allenbrook Dr to Rowe Lane.  Access to Chesapeake and Stone Briar subdivisions can be made via Milburn School Rd to Dunhill Dr through the Fountains subdivision to Fountains Parkway.

The Old Collinsville Railroad crossing will continue to be closed until the railroad and the road contractor have completed their work to allow access again.

(Construction Period: June 2010 - August 2011) Traffic throughout the project should be local residents only.

Beginning Friday 8/27/10 Stage 1 (between Bethel and south end of the project) will be opened to local  traffic.

Stage 2 (Bethel to the easterly leg of the Bowler Road intersection will be closed.  All traffic from Bowler Road will be directed east on O'Fallon-Troy to Seven Hills.  The north/south leg of Bowler will be removed and the new O'Fallon Troy Road Bowler Road intersection will be constructed during stage 2. West bound traffic on O'Fallon-Troy Road will no longer have access to Bethel Road.  Traffic from Bethel Road will be directed south on O'Fallon-Troy Road.  There will be one lane of traffic on Bethel at O'Fallon-Troy.  The restricted right-of-way and utility conflicted prevent the temporary construction of additional access roadway.

Stage 9 (Seven Hills Road/Weil Road to a point approximately 2400 east of the intersection) remains closed to through traffic.  The Contractor will begin preparation work for paving next week.  I would anticipate the first concrete pour will take place the second week of September.  This will be 24' wide pavement from end to end of the stage.  Additional pavement for the proposed left turn lanes at the intersection will follow.  With good weather it is not unrealistic to expect Stage 9 to be completed by the end of September.  Upon completion of Stage 9, the County Engineer will make a decision on continuing into Stage 10.  If Stage 9 is complete by the end of September I would recommend that work Stage 10 be allowed to continue with the anticipation that it could be completed before the winter (mid December).  Click here for the Stage 2 closure map
