2015/09/28 - Walter's Blog: O'Fallon Police Department Promotions

You may have seen the recent announcement of promotions at the O’Fallon Police Department. Lieutenant James Cavins was promoted to Captain, Sergeant Kirk Brueggeman was promoted to Lieutenant, and Patrol Officer Mike Mojzis was promoted to Sergeant. The promotions were the result of the retirement of Captain Mick Hunter, who served 27 years with the O’Fallon Police Department.

O’Fallon has a well-distinguished Police Department of which we should all be proud. When people decide to live somewhere, one of the most important factors is safety. Mayor Graham and the O’Fallon City Council have placed public safety (Police, Fire, and EMS) as a high priority for City resources and our police officers exemplify that. Cavins, Brueggeman, and Mojzis are all long-tenured O’Fallon police officers and are committed to the community.

Congratulations to Mick Hunter, James Cavins, Kirk Brueggeman, and Mike Mojzis for their accomplishments. And we, as O’Fallon residents, are better off because these men serve the O’Fallon Police Department.
