David was appointed as an Alderman in Ward 7 in July 2009.
 
He is originally from Springfield, Ohio and first became an O’Fallon resident in 1982 as an airman stationed at Scott AFB.  A military transfer required a move in 1984 to Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS.  Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1988, he returned to O’Fallon.  David and his wife, Lynda, have three children Ryan, Katelyn, and Tyler who are all graduates of OTHS.
 
David holds degrees from Clark State College in Springfield, Ohio, the Community College of the Air Force, and the University of Southern Mississippi.  
 
He has volunteered his time in a variety of activities including coaching baseball and soccer, Boy Scouts, OTHS Marching Panthers Band Parent, O’Fallon Food Pantry, YMCA Volunteer, and Neighborhood Student Mentor.
 
He has also served his church as a Sunday School Leader, Summer Camp Counselor, Van Chauffer, Financial Secretary, Small Group Leader, and Stewardship Chairman.  
 
For over 25 years, David has lived, experienced, and appreciated the values and traditions that attract people to choose O’Fallon.  He wants to help maintain these values and traditions while planning for the continued growth of O’Fallon.
