Marcus J. Thornton Arrested for the Robbery at U.S. Bank on February 9, 2017

O’Fallon, Illinois – On Thursday, February 16, 2017 a Federal Arrest Warrant was issued out of the Southern District of Illinois for Marcus J. Thornton for the offense of Bank Robbery. Thornton is alleged to have robbed the U.S. Bank, 400 S. Lincoln Ave, O'Fallon, IL on February 9, 2017.
On February 17, 2017, Thornton was arrested in Madison County, Illinois without incident. He is currently in custody pending federal court proceedings.
The investigation was a joint effort between the O'Fallon Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the assistance of the Madison County Sheriff's Department.
