Small Business Open House at the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce
O’Fallon, Illinois – Mayor Gary L. Graham is pleased to announce that the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting an Open House for Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs at the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce (116 East First Street, O’Fallon, Illinois) on Friday, July 22, 2016. The SBDC Day in O’Fallon runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a one-hour “Social Media” workshop starting at 12 p.m.
“If you currently own or operate a business, or if you may want to in the future, I encourage you to come to the Chamber of Commerce and speak to someone from the SBDC,” said Mayor Graham. “This open house, as well as nearly all of the SBDC’s services, are free for Illinois businesses and residents.”
Staff from the Illinois Metro East Small Business Development Center at SIUE will be available to talk confidentially with business owners and entrepreneurs on a range of topics including, but not limited to:
- Business Financing
- Marketing Assistance
- Social Media Strategy
- Business Plans
- Expansion Opportunities
- Buying and Selling a Business
- State and Federal Regulations
- Exporting and International Trade
