Where Can I go to Register to Vote?

You can register to vote at City Hall.  The office hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible to register to vote:

• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old by election day.
• Must be a resident of the precinct for thirty (30) days as of the next election.

Note:  Registrations cannot be taken within 28 days prior to an election.

Registering to vote
You must provide two forms of identification, one with the current street address and an identification with a picture.

Transfer of voter registration
A voter who is already registered within their County under his/her current name and who has moved from one address to another within the same county, may transfer that registration to the new address by completing the new information on the back of the voter registration card and sending it to the County Clerk’s office which is imprinted on the back of the voter registration card.
