Short-term rentals such as Airbnb are NOT allowed in residential zoning districts within the City of O'Fallon. Homes with commercial zoning may go through the planned use rezoning process to request permission to operate as a "bed and breakfast", but the property must be owner occupied and other requirements may need to be met. Properties listed on short-term rental websites may be subject to violation notices of the City of O'Fallon Code of Ordinances.
