City Hall Closed on Monday, May 25 in Observance of Memorial Day

NEWS FROM O'FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois In observance of Memorial Day, City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2020. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. When City Hall returns to regular business hours, City Hall will continue to be closed to public access due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Memorial Day Ceremonies that are usually held at the Veteran’s Monument have been cancelled. 

“Please make time on Memorial Day to reflect on the true purpose of the day, said Mayor Herb Roach. “While we are not able to host the Memorial Day Ceremonies this year, the day will still have special importance in the community and country.”

Due to the holiday, the City Committee Meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Also due to the holiday, Waste Management’s pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day the week of May 25. Monday routes will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday routes on Wednesday, Wednesday routes on Thursday, Thursday routes on Friday, and Friday routes on Saturday.
