Intersection Of Old Collinsville Road and Milburn School Road to Close on May 29, 2018

O’Fallon, Illinois – Beginning on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, the intersection of Old Collinsville Road and Milburn School Road will close for the construction of a roundabout. It is anticipated that most work will be completed and the road will be re-opened to traffic on Friday, August 10, 2018, weather permitting.

“We kindly ask that our residents be patient and considerate during this improvement project,” said Mayor Roach. “Once completed, this intersection will be safer and have less traffic congestion.”

A marked detour route will be on Fairway Wood, Tea Olive, Savannah Hills Boulevard, Northshore Drive, and Dunhill Drive.

The work will consist of storm sewer and curb installation, construction of a roundabout and new pavement. The work will be completed by Hanks Excavating and Landscaping.
