O’Fallon, Illinois At the September 4, 2018 City Council Meeting, Mayor Herb Roach and the City Council recognized Habitat for Humanity by renaming Elm Street in the Carson/Behrens area “Habitat Way”.

“Habitat for Humanity, in cooperation with the community and future homeowner, has built four homes in the area around Carson and Behrens Streets,” said Mayor Roach. “Renaming Elm Street as Habitat Way is the least we can do to show our respect for this great organization and the work they do.”

Prior to the renaming, there were two Elm Streets in O’Fallon. The Elm Street, off of South Walnut Street is not renamed and will remain Elm Street.
