April 5- Blue Star Marker Dedication

 @ 10 am at the O'Fallon Veterans' Monument located at 737 East Wesley Drive

The O’Fallon Garden Club and the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department invite you to attend the Blue Star Marker Dedication Ceremony at the O’Fallon Veterans’ Monument on April 5th at 10 am. The garden club has planted thousands of daffodils at the monument to remember our veterans. The Blue Star Memorial Marker Program is a dedication plaque adopted in 1945 by the National Garden Clubs to honor the Armed Forces after WWII. Today, it is a monument to commend all of our Armed Services for their sacrifice and dedication to our country.  Join us as the Monument to dedicate the over 6,000 daffodils on the berms of the Monument grounds. 

A reception will follow at the Public Safety Building on Seven Hills Road.

 

April 26 - Arbor Day Celebration

@ 10 am at the O'Fallon Community Garden located at the corner of State and Smiley Streets.

The O’Fallon Garden Club invites you the come and learn about trees. We will be planting 8 native Redbuds, handing out seedlings, and hosting demos on planting and pruning at the Community Garden from 10 am – 12 noon. Come celebrate Arbor Day with the Garden Club!

 

May 3 - Spring Plant Sale

The O’Fallon Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 3rd from 9 am - 2 pm at the Community Financial Center parking lot (800 South Lincoln and Hwy 50). The Club will offer a variety of annuals and perennials at amazing prices and local master gardeners will be available to answer your plant questions. The plant sale is a fund-raiser for the garden club to continue its efforts to beautify our community through plantings. Your purchase helps our community. Stop by and see our selection!

September 24th  - Fall Plant and Craft Sale

The O’Fallon Garden Club will hold its Fall plant and Craft sale on Saturday, September 24th from 9 am - 1 pm at the Community Financial Center parking lot (800 South Lincoln and Hwy 50). The Club will offer a variety of Fall plants at amazing prices and local master gardeners will be available to answer your plant questions. We will also be selling crafts made locally ideal for Christmas presents. The sale is a fund-raiser for the garden club to continue its efforts to beautify our community through plantings. Your purchase helps our community. Stop by and see our selection!

 

 

December 6 - Annual Christmas Party

The O'Fallon Garden Club invites you to enjoy our annual Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 6th at 6 PM at the Katy Cavins Community Center.  Join us for Pot Luck and wreath making.  Bring any decorations, ribbon, containers or wreath ring you would like to use.  Fresh greenery will be provided by the club.  Great way to start the festive season.
