The City Clerk’s Office performs those duties mandated by state and local law, serving the City Council and the general public. The City Clerk’s Office performs all duties related to City Council including managing the automated agenda, Council minutes, meeting notices, maintains custody of official records, books, contracts, and other documents and attests to the validity of public records and official municipal enactments, exercises administrative direction and control over the City’s records management program, and serves as liaison with the news media, public, and various City departments relating to Open Meetings Act information and services relative to Council’s actions and public records/information. Our goal centers on continuing to support the vision statement of the City by providing courteous, efficient, and timely accessibility to official public records.

In the Clerk's office, our daily quest is to provide exemplar customer service. Our office strives to deliver information in a timely, professional and streamlined manner. Please contact our office, if you require accurate information for municipal services.

Business, food, garbage, vending licenses and applications, Liquor licenses and applications, City Council Agenda, Meeting Notices, Freedom of Information Act requests, Open Meetings Act, Publish legal notices and ordinances, Ordinances, Resolutions and Records Management, Cemetery sales & processing various City information, Vehicle records, Contracts and agreements, Code on the Internet information, Maintain codification update, Election information, Notary Public, Deputy Registrar, Attest and seal all municipal documents, Index and file all official documents for the municipality, File with the County offices - tax levies, annexations, plats of dedication, Records Management Coordination, Custody of Official Records, Notify County Clerk regarding individuals required to file the Statement of Economic Interests.

Pursuant to 735 ILCS 5/15-1503 and 735 ILCS 5/15-1508, Notices of Foreclosure for residential real estate mortgages on property located within the corporate limits of the City of O'Fallon, Illinois shall be sent to the following address:
