Important Information for O’Fallon Water Customers

NEWS FROM O’FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois – Mayor Gary L. Graham is pleased to announce that starting on April 11, 2016, the City of O’Fallon will be upgrading its utility billing software program. The new program will bring about some exciting changes for all O’Fallon water customers.

“This new software will offer new features that will make it more convenient for all O’Fallon water customers,” said Mayor Graham.

Some of the changes that will be effective immediately are the following:

  • Online account access: The ability to view your bill, payment, and past consumption history online.
  • Paperless: The ability to sign up for email alerts when your bill has been issued so that you can view it online and not receive paper bills anymore.

Additional changes that will be coming soon are the following:

  • Online credit card payments: The ability to go to your account online and also pay the bill right there from the same site with a credit card.
  • Visa: The ability to pay with a VISA credit card.

Most importantly, along with the above changes, your account and customer numbers will be changing. If you are a customer that currently pays your bills online with your own banking institution, it is imperative that you change your account number in your banking system for the City of O’Fallon to ensure proper posting of your payment. Your new account/customer number will be on your mailed invoice beginning on April 11, 2016.

If you are a “Bank Draft” Customer and have your bill directly withdrawn from your bank account, or you pay by personal check, you will not be affected at all and you do not need to make any changes.
