Milburn School Road Construction Begins on May 30, 2017

NEWS FROM O’FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois Milburn School Road, between Savannah Hills and the roundabout at Milburn Estates/Merriam Parkway, will be closed to traffic beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2017. It is anticipated that work will be completed and the road will re-open to traffic on September 30, 2017, weather permitting.

“We kindly ask our residents to be patient and considerate during this improvement project,” said Mayor Herb Roach.

A detour route will be on Simmons Road, Venita Drive, Frontage Road, and Old Collinsville Road. Access to the OTHS Milburn Campus from Merriam Parkway will not be affected by the construction.

The work will consist of storm sewer and curb installation and pavement construction and will be completed by Stutz Excavating.

Residents who live in the affected areas will have access to their properties throughout the project, though occasional delays may be encountered.

Current updates for this, and other construction projects can be found on the City’s website at www.ofallon.org under Quick Links, Construction Updates.
