O’Fallon Firefighter Pete MacLaughlin - VFW Illinois Firefighter of the Year

O’Fallon, Illinois – O’Fallon Firefighter Pete MacLaughlin has been chosen as the VFW Illinois Firefighter of the Year. Firefighter MacLaughlin was also selected as the local firefighter of the year by O’Fallon VFW Post 805.
“Congratulations to Firefighter MacLaughlin!” said Mayor Herb Roach. “We are proud to have this hardworking, dedicated and skilled member of our department be honored at the state level.”
After receiving the local award earlier this year, Firefighter MacLaughlin’s award application was forwarded to the VFW State Commander where he was selected over many other local award winners.
