NEWS FROM O’FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois – Mayor Gary L. Graham is pleased to announce that the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department was recently awarded $2,100 through Waste Management’s “Think Green” Grant Program to help purchase five new recycling receptacles at O’Fallon Community Park.

“The City of O’Fallon is determined to help increase opportunities for all of our residents to recycle,” said Mayor Graham. “This grant from Waste Management will help us further achieve that goal.”

The new recycling receptacles will be installed this winter at O’Fallon Community Park Pavilions 1, 2, and 3, Memorial Pool, and Blazier Field.

Waste Management’s grant will complement the City of O’Fallon’s ongoing commitment to provide recycling receptacles at high use recreation facilities throughout the community.
