NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

The City of O'Fallon, St. Clair County, Illinois, will receive sealed proposals for the BUILDING DEMOLITION until 8:30 a.m. on April 14th, 2021 in the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, in the City of O'Fallon, Illinois, 62269. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 8:30 a.m. April 14th, 2021. The sealed bids must be delivered to the City Clerk before 8:30 a.m., during regular business hours. 

The proposed work consists of demolishing and cleaning up all building materials, including foundation(s) building slab(s), trees/foliage, closing out and removing per St. Clair County, IL standards, rules and regulations the well, cisterns and septic system, backfilling all excavations and seeding.  The proposed work also consists of properly disposing of one residential structure and one accessory shed.  Please review the section marked “completion time” prior to bid submittal.

No less than prevailing rate of wages, as determined in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage, shall be paid to all laborers, operators, teamsters, masons, plumbers, and any workers employed in construction on this project.

The City of O'Fallon, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
