Census Takers Canvassing O’Fallon Beginning On August 11, 2020

NEWS FROM O'FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois As part of the 2020 US Census, census takers will be visiting households in selected neighborhoods in O’Fallon every day of the week, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. beginning on August 11, 2020 to collect information from O’Fallon residents that have not yet completed the census. Workers will be wearing visible badges identifying them as official census workers. Residents are encouraged to ask them to see their badges. Each census taker will have appropriate face coverings and will be practicing social distancing.

If you would like to complete the census online, the survey is available at https://my2020census.gov/.

“Your participation and cooperation in the census are essential in helping our community address vital needs. You can help by providing census workers with complete and accurate information about members of your household, whether they are related to you or not,” said Mayor Herb Roach.

The interview takes no more than a few minutes to complete. All information obtained during the interview will only be used for the purpose of the census and is confidential.
