Destination O’Fallon Featured in Public Management Magazine

O’Fallon, Illinois – The City of O’Fallon was recently featured in the March issue of Public Management “PM” Magazine. The article highlights “Destination O’Fallon” and tells the story of how an Illinois city became a hot spot for recreational Tourism. “This article, which is shared world-wide, is another example of how O’Fallon is stepping out onto the world stage as a premier community,” said Mayor Herb Roach.

The article, which provides an in-depth review of how O’Fallon has used its central location and high-quality-of-life ethic to create an economic development engine built around recreational tourism and the O’Fallon Family Sports Park. The article also describes “Destination O’Fallon,” an economic development initiative that is an investment in the community and intended to spur economic growth, to support youth and families in a truly positive way, and to help the City of O’Fallon realize its vision for a successful and prosperous community.

The article was co-authored by Walter Denton, City Administrator and Grant Litteken, Assistant to the City Administrator.
