New Public Safety Employees Introduced During September 18th City Council Meeting

NEWS FROM O’FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Officers Sept 2017

O’Fallon, Illinois During the September 18, 2017 City Council Meeting, new police officers George Fender, Cloee Frank, Justin Ellis and Nicholas Luttrell were introduced to the City Council and those in attendance.  

“I congratulate each of these employees on their achievement and sincerely thank them for their dedication to our community. I look forward to seeing these men and women join the ranks of the other great O’Fallon officers,” said Mayor Herb Roach. “I am proud to say that with these hires, we have brought the police force back to full staffing for the first time in seven years.”

Officers Frank, Fender and Ellis all bring experience to their new positions as they are already certified officers. They will immediately begin in the field training program. Officer Frank comes to O’Fallon with 4.5 years of experience with the Carbondale Police Department. Officer Fender previously worked for 10 years as a Police Officer for the Village of Shiloh.  Officer Ellis was previously employed as a part-time officer with the Grantfork Police Department and was a full-time paramedic for O’Fallon EMS.  

Officer Luttrell is a recent graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.  He recently began the Police Academy at Southwestern Illinois College and is expected to graduate in December.
