Waste Management Pick-up Routes on August 21, 2017 Scheduled to be One-hour Earlier

NEWS FROM O’FALLON CITY HALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

O’Fallon, Illinois  Waste Management requests that all residents on the Monday, August 21, 2017 pick-up route place their containers outside by 5 a.m. Waste Management will be starting their pick-up routes one hour earlier than normal due to the number of visitors expected to visit the area to experience the Total Solar Eclipse. This schedule change will not affect any other pick-up routes.

“Due to the thousands expected to visit the St. Louis area to experience the Eclipse on August 21st, Waste Management wants to start their drivers an hour early to guarantee that their customers do not experience lengthy service delays,” said Mayor Herb Roach. “If your pick-up day is on Monday, please place your containers outside either the night before, or by 5 a.m. on August 21st.”
