Jim Campbell was elected in 2021 as a Council Member in Ward 6 where he lives with his wife, Marilyn.  Originally from Western Pennsylvania, Jim enlisted in the Air Force in 1972 and received a direct commission in 1977.

Healthcare administration led him into nearly every non-clinical job in Air Force hospitals and clinics until his retirement in 1994 here at Scott Air Force Base.  His work since then has been in Public Health, physician practice management, and then as a consultant to hospitals and large physician groups across the country.

During his time here in OFallon Jim has been active in many civic and community organizations including two years as President of the Illinois State Medical Group Management Association, leadership positions in his church, Rotary Club of O’Fallon as treasurer and board member, Masterworks Chorale and Children’s Chorus as a singer and board member, Habitat for Humanity where he serves as Vice President and Assistant Construction Chairman and a history of serving on the Chamber of Commerce and Main Street O’Fallon Boards.

Jim’s principal interest as a Council Member is continued diversified growth in the city of OFallon as a means to ensure a stable, robust future for those who call O’Fallon home.
