Single Stream Recycling
One recycling container will be collected bi-weekly with trash and yard waste.

Additional recycling carts can be requested and can be collected for $2.50.

All recyclables should be rinsed and dried with caps left on before tossing in the bin.

· Chipboard, boxboard & cardboard boxes
· Paper bags
· Phone books, catalogs & magazines
· Newspapers
· Paper cardboard, dairy & juice containers
· Junk mail
· Office & school paper
· Glass bottles & jars
· Pots & pans & household metals
· Plastic bottles & containers #1-#7
· Aluminum cans, foil and pie tins
· Tin & steel cans
Non-Recyclable Material
· Non-food cans such as paint or aerosol cans
· Mirrors, light bulbs, pesticide/herbicide containers
· Plastic wrappers
· Bleach or motor oil containers
· No Household hazardous waste (wet paint, strong cleaning agents, tires, auto batteries, etc.)
 

Electronics Recycling

The City of O'Fallon will also hold Electronics Recycling Events twice a year. Join us on April 27th from 9 AM to 12 PM at Amelia Carriel Junior High School, 451 N 7 Hills Road, O’Fallon, Illinois 62269 for a scrap metal & electronics recycling drive. The event is free and appointments are not required.
